Freight train causes problems on the West Coast Express

By

PORT MOODY (NEWS1130) – A freight train caused some headaches for West Coast Express commuters this morning.

TransLink says a freight train by the Port Moody station blocked Train 1 heading into Vancouver. That train did not stop at the Coquitlam or Port Moody stations.

Train 1 was 20 minutes behind schedule.

Train 2 is about 15 minutes behind schedule, but is expected to stop at all stations.

TransLink does not expect delays for Trains 3, 4, or 5.
