Family of murdered Vancouver mother of five pleads for help finding the suspect

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – The family of a woman who was murdered this month in Vancouver is asking for your help, as the search for a suspect continues.

There is a $10,000 reward for information leading to Daniel Paul’s arrest.

Rose Paul was found dead on March 3rd in a basement suite on East 22nd Avenue near Main Street.

Now, the family of the mother of five is asking for your help in finding her boyfriend, the number one suspect sought by police.

Candace Paul says her sister Rosie was beautiful, outgoing, very loving and the mother of five girls, aged 8 to 19. “She helped all the young girls with the struggles of life.”

“Rosie loved and trusted this man,” says Howard Paul, Rose’s uncle.

“Danny… Do the right thing and come forward. Turn yourself in,” he urges.

“Daniel is to be considered dangerous and anyone who knows his whereabouts is asked not to approach him and call 9-1-1,” says VPD Sergeant Randy Fincham.

Daniel Paul is Aboriginal and 5’8″ tall, with a medium build, brown eyes, and short black hair. On his left arm, he has tattoos of an eagle, a rat, a knife, a skull and a buffalo. On his right arm, he has tattoos of a skull with a rose and a heart.
