Allegiant Airlines wins court order to stop pilots from striking

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – After worrying many passengers who have flights scheduled over the next week, Allegiant Airlines has now won a court order to stop its pilots from striking.

If you’ve already re-booked with another airline and the pilots obey the court order, you could be out of luck according to Claire Newell with Travel Best Bets.

It’s a different story if you haven’t re-booked but still want to cancel your Allegiant flight.

“People who are on flights up to and including April 7th can change their plans and get a full refund.”

If the strike went ahead, it would have grounded 250 flights daily.

The airline was really worried it would scare off customers and the strike would cost millions of dollars a day.
