Suspicious death in Surrey

SURREY (NEWS1130) – The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team was called to a suspicious sudden death at a home in Surrey yesterday morning.

Upon arrival, officers learned the body of a 57 year old man had been found by his roommates. Police then arrested one man, interviewed and released him without charges pending further investigation.

Sgt. Stephanie Ashton, Media Relations Officer with IHIT says it doesn’t appear to be random. “It is our belief the victim and suspect knew each.”

Police are requesting anyone who heard an argument near Hansen Road and Park Drive in Surrey between 1:00am and 4:00am on Friday April 17th to contact them
