Vancouver charity fundraiser appointed to the Order of BC

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – A well-known Vancouver charity fundraiser Mel Zajac is one of 16 people who will be appointed to the Order of BC this year.
Zajac has devoted more than 50 years of his life to giving back to the community. The Zajac Foundation has raised more than $25 million for charities and community projects.
Other Order of BC recipients include Tim Collings, who invented the V-Chip to filter inappropriate TV content, and Able Walker inventor Norman Rolston.
