The Diamond Rally kicks off tomorrow

LOWER MAINLAND (NEWS1130) – Imagine seeing 99 of the most luxurious, supercars in all of North America heading up the Sea To Sky Highway as they raise money for a number of worthy causes.
The Diamond Rally kicks off tomorrow morning at Brian Jessel BMW and you’ll have a chance to get an up close and personal look at these incredible machines, talk to the drivers and navigators, and dream about one day getting behind the wheel of one.
The entrants are also encouraged to participate in the “Charity Challenge” where drivers have the opportunity to raise funds for the charity of their choice.
You can bring the kids down and watch as the VPD blocks off local roads to help launch the line of cars towards the Second Narrows Bridge onto the Sea to Sky highway for their trip to Whistler with a pit stop planned for Squamish.
Some of the cars you will see – Acura NSX, Aston Martin, Audi R8, RS, A8, BMW i8 /Z8 /M6. Bentley, Bugatti, Cadillac CTS-V, ATS-V, Corvette C7, Ferrari, Ford GT40, Jaguar F-Type, XF, XK, XJ, Koenigsegg, Lamborghini, Lexus LFA. Maserati, McLaren, Mercedes-Benz AMG, CLS, SL, SLS, S, GT, G?, Porsche 911, 997, 918, Panamera, Cayenne, Pagani, Range Rover, Rolls-Royce, Spyker, Tesla and a Viper.
