ABBOTSFORD (NEWS 1130) – A warning from Abbotsford police about a convicted sex offender moving into the community.
James Conway, 40, has a lengthy criminal history that includes sexual assault, sexual interference, mischief and arson.
Abbotsford PD Constable Ian Macdonald is asking people call police if he breaks any of his court-ordered conditions.
“He’s under 24/7 electronic monitoring,” says Macdonald. “Certainly if anybody saw him out and about by himself that would be a breach of his court conditions and that should be a 9-1-1 call to police.”
Conway was most recently arrested for allegedly sitting next to a 14-year-old girl on a Surrey bus when there were other seats available.
He is 6’4, weighs 240 pounds and has brown hair and blue eyes.
