Vancouver Police identify person of interest in suspicious death

VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) – Vancouver Police have identified a man they’re calling a person of interest — not a suspect — in a suspicious death earlier this month outside a nightclub on Robson Street.

A 60-year-old man was involved in an argument outside Shenanigans on Robson Street; he was knocked to the ground.

He had what was originally believed to be a minor head injury and refused treatment in the hospital.

Paramedics were later called to his apartment in the West End and found him unresponsive. He died of a brain bleed.

A 26-year-old man spotted on surveillance video has been identified as the other person involved in the fight, but no charges have been laid.
