Four men charged in relation to North Vancouver homicide

NORTH VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) – Four men between the ages of 18 and 23 are charged in connection with the discovery of a body in North Vancouver early yesterday morning.

Charges include kidnapping and indignity to a body. The remains were found near Wellington Avenue.

IHIT Sergeant Stephanie Ashton isn’t able to say why no murder or manslaughter charges were laid.

“It’s a fluid investigation. There were so many agencies involved. We’re working through this right now. There may be more charges at a later date, but at this point with the four individuals in custody, those were the charges that were put forward to the Crown and the Crown approved.”

Tian Zhang, 23, and Casey Hiscoe, 21, are charged with Kidnapping and Indignity to a body. Dyllan Green, 20, and Jacob Gorelik, 18, have been charged with Indignity to a body.

The victim’s name isn’t being released.
