RCMP looking for man after family filmed while changing at a Coquitlam pool complex

COQUITLAM (NEWS 1130) – Mounties in Coquitlam are hoping you can help them identify a man suspected of recording a video of a family in a change room at a rec centre.

It happened the evening of Wednesday, September 9th at the Poirier Sports and Leisure Complex. A family was changing in the change room when they noticed someone was using a phone to record them through the opening between the floor and the bottom of the change room divider.

After getting dressed, the family told a staff member what happened; that person confronted the man, who quickly left.

That’s when the RCMP became involved.

The suspect is described as a white man believed to be in his 20s and 6’0″ tall with short brown hair. At the time, he was wearing a black ball cap, a black t-shirt with “Hollister Surf” written on the front. He was carrying a gym bag.
