Man dies while snowmobiling with Whistler tour operator

WHISTLER (NEWS1130) – A 65-year-old Australian has been killed while on a snowmobiling excursion with tour operator out of Whistler.
Canadian Wilderness Adventures says he was out with a group on a night tour when he hit a tree.
He had a 54-year-old female passenger with him. She was taken to Lions Gate Hospital for treatment for her injuries.
The accident happened as the tour was making its way down Blackcomb Mountain on New Year’s Day.
