VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) – From marking the Lunar New Year to getting the home and garden ready for summer, there are lots of things to do this weekend.

Visit the Year of the Monkey Temple Fair Sunday at Sun Yat-Sen Garden.

Celebrate Chinese New Year Saturday at the Dharma Drum Mountain Vancouver Centre in Richmond.

You can also celebrate the Year of the Monkey Saturday at Wesbrook Village at UBC.

Welcome the Year of the Monkey with the VSO and local piano sensation Avan Yu Saturday night at The Orpheum.

The Wellness Show is on this weekend at the Convention Centre downtown.

The Fraser Valley Home & Garden Expo is on this weekend at the Tradex in Abbotsford.

The Canucks host the Maple Leafs Saturday night at Rogers Arena.

It’s the last weekend to check out the Eastside Flea at the Wise Hall on Main.

Jazz great Branford Marsalis plays the Chan Centre Saturday.

Check out East Van Mardi Gras Saturday at the Wise Hall on Main.

Visit the February Food Truck Fest at Nat Bailey & Hastings Park this weekend.

Free skating continues at Robson Square until the end of February.

(In)visible: The Spiritual World of Taiwan Through Contemporary Art is on now until April at the UBC Museum of Anthropology.

Chitty Chitty Bang Bang is playing at the Michael J. Fox Theatre in Burnaby until the 20th.
