Americans considering Canada due to Trump? Spotify has a playlist for you

Donald Trump remains the front-runner in the race for the Republican presidential nomination and that still has some Americans nervous. So much so, many are considering moving to Canada should the real estate mogul and reality television star become president.

To that end, Spotify has come out with a playlist to make relocating north just a little bit easier.

Several Canadian performers are among the list of artists the music streaming service has culled for what it calls the perfect “moving mix.”

Carly Rae Jepsen’s “Run Away With Me”, Justin Bieber’s “Sorry”, Alessia Cara’s “Wild Things” and the Weeknd’s “In The Night” are among the tracks selected to help ease nervous Americans into the Canadian way of life.

Since March 27th, a YouTube video promoting the playlist has been viewed more than 1.5-million times.

The idea of packing up and moving north has been gaining steam with immigration lawyers in Vancouver getting calls following Trump’s win on Super Tuesday back in March. Since then, Google searches for “Moving to Canada” have spiked, a similar trend seen back in 2004 when George W. Bush won a second term.
