BC beer industry getting $10M injection

Good news for craft beer lovers.
Brewers around the province will be getting an extra $10M a year in economic support.
Eli Gershkovitch with Steamworks Brewing says in July, the mark up rate on products will be reduced by approximately 25 per cent.
“It will allow craft breweries to further invest or reinvest in expanding their plant and equipment and allow us to be that much more competitive at the industry grows,” says Gershkovitch.
Since 2010 the number of breweries in BC has doubled, with up to 20 new ones on the horizon.
