Young woman attacked in East Vancouver

VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) – Vancouver Police are trying to figure out who’s responsible for attacking a young woman in East Vancouver early Thursday morning.

The 18-year-old was walking on East 8th Avenue between Rupert and Renfrew at about 430 a.m. when she was grabbed from behind and pulled to the ground by a man. She screamed and he took off.

Police are still looking for a suspect.
