Surrey Board of Trade honours city’s best young entrepreneurs tonight

SURREY (NEWS 1130) – Young, bright minds are being rewarded tonight in Surrey.

The city’s board of trade is hosting the Top 25 Under 25 awards.

“You have a 17-year-old who started a business, a 23-year-old who has started a project in their university, and a 20-year-old who has raised a significant amount of money for a Pakistani cultural association,” says Anita Huberman with the Surrey Board of Trade.

She says it’s crucial to support young people with good ideas.

“It was important for us to engage youth in their entrepreneurial activity, bring them awareness about the Board of Trade.”

Huberman notes tonight’s event will connect the young entrepreneurs with the city’s business leaders.
