Most Canadians think UK choice to ‘Brexit’ was a bad move, but won’t affect relations with Canada

By

VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) – It appears most people think relations between the UK and Canada will not be changed by Great Britain’s choice to leave the European Union.

Nearly 60 per cent of those taking part in the poll by “Mainstreet Research” say it will make no difference at all.

In fact, only 17 per cent think “Brexit” will be bad for Canada, while just 11 per cent feel it will be a good thing.

However, Canadians had stronger opinions about British Prime Minister David Cameron. More than half disapprove of the job he’s doing.
