Police appeal for witnesses after man is shot in Delta

NORTH DELTA (NEWS 1130) – The man rushed to the hospital after being shot at Scott Road and 92nd in Delta this morning is not cooperating with what police are calling a targeted shooting.

Sharlene Brooks with Delta Police says the man has non life-threatening injuries and they’re still trying to track down suspects.

“I’ve got a very scant description of a suspect vehicle that fled northbound on 120th, described only as a small, dark-coloured import,” says Brooks.

She says it’s still very early in the investigation as the call initially came in at 11:15 a.m. Brooks adds police will be at the scene for a while longer.

Police are asking witnesses who may have seen anything to give them a call at 604.946.4411.
