PORT COQUITLAM (NEWS 1130) – Police have canceled an Amber Alert that was issued Friday evening for two children and their mother who were last seen in Port Coquitlam.

RCMP Sergeant Annie Linteau says the three were located at a gas station in Sicamous by police at about 9 p.m.

When the Amber Alert was issued Coquitlam RCMP said they had received a report of a parental abduction from Birchland Elementary School around 2 p.m. Friday.

Officers initiated a search for the 36-year-old mother and her two children.

Police said at the time there was “reasonable concern” for the safety of the children.
