Delta Police investigate suspicious death

DELTA (NEWS1130) – Police in Delta are investigating a suspicious death after what appears to be a bar fight.
At around 1:30 a.m. emergency crews responded to an altercation between a group of young men and a 53-year-old behind the Rose and Crown near 12th Avenue and 56th Street.
When they arrived, the man was unresponsive and was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
The cause of death is unknown and an the investigation is ongoing. Two men are currently in police custody for questioning.
Investigators are calling on other witnesses to come forward as they probe the suspicious death.
