Targeted shooting in Abbotsford

ABBOTSFORD (NEWS 1130) – The Abbotsford Police Major Crime Unit has been called in after shots were fired in a residential neighbourhood early yesterday morning.

Police say around 5:30 a.m., officers were called out to the area of Flagman Place and Roundhouse Drive for reports of shots fired. They say a man walked out of his house and was heading towards his truck when he heard the loud revving of a car engine and then a man approached him. Investigators say the person, dressed in dark clothing, started shooting forcing the target to stumble backwards and into his home.

The suspect took off in a waiting vehicle (see image above).
