PORT COQUITLAM (NEWS 1130) – For a short time this afternoon there was a heavy police presence at the Fremont Village Walmart in Port Coquitlam after RCMP say threats were made against the store.
The building — near the Pitt River Bridge — had been cleared out and people were being told to stay away, but after a quick investigation, police say the threats were “unfounded.”
No one has been arrested.
