Three more men charged in connection to 2016 Vancouver kidnapping case

VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) – Vancouver Police have arrested three men in connection to a kidnapping in September on Dieppe Place.

VPD Constable Jason Doucette says Ellwood Bradbury, Matthew Stewart were arrested in the Metro Vancouver area while Erlan Acosta was found by US marshals in Mesquite, Texas.

“All three have now been arrested and have been charged with kidnapping, unlawful confinement, aggravated assault, and two counts of extortion.”

The latest arrests mean six people are now in custody, but no one has been charged in the double murder case yet.

Vancouver Police discovered the bodies of Xuan Vanvy Bacao, 24, and Samantha Le, 29, in a house on Dieppe Place near Dieppe Drive in September.
