Another bomb threat made to the Vancouver Jewish Centre

VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) – The Vancouver Jewish Community Centre received another bomb threat this morning – the second this week.

Eldad Goldfarb with the centre says the call came in around 9am that their was an explosive device in the building and that people were going to get hurt.

“We just acted on our well-resourced security and safety protocols and, of course, the first thing we did was invite the VPD to the scene, and we did whatever we had to do to clear the building and resume business as usual, which we are right now.”

Nothing was found and the centre at 41st and Oak has now re-opened.

A similar threat was made on Tuesday, with the building evacuated for several hours as police combed the grounds.
