No arrests after three people assaulted in Burnaby

BURNABY (NEWS 1130) – Mounties in Burnaby have a new file on their hands this morning following a violent assault.

Mounties say at around 2:30 a.m., they received word at least three people had been attacked around Kingsway and Dufferin Street and that bats were the weapon of choice. RCMP Corporal David Chu says the victims aren’t exactly being cooperative with investigators. “There are no reports of any serious injuries. The parties that were involved are known to the police and at this point we are still investigating.”

Police did find a car associated with the attack shortly after, but at this point no one has been arrested and the exact motive remains unclear.
