Overnight stabbing in Surrey and a shooting in Delta

NORTH DELTA (NEWS 1130) – One man has serious injuries after a stabbing in Surrey.
Police were called to the Cloverdale area at 57th Avenue early this morning.
Investigators say two people started fighting leading up to the stabbing. Now police officers are speaking with witnesses.
And someone has been shot in North Delta.
It happened not far from the intersection of Scott Road and Nordel Way.
Police say the person who was shot is expected to survive.
The Major Crimes Unit is looking for clues around 119th and 88th Avenue.
No word yet about a suspect, or whether this was targeted.
