Triple stabbing at a downtown Vancouver nightclub

VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) – Three men are recovering from serious injuries after an argument turned into a triple stabbing downtown this morning.

It happened just after 3:00 a.m. at the Caprice Nightclub on Granville St, as most clubs in the area were closing for the night.

Police say two groups of men were involved in a verbal altercation inside club. They say when the groups were directed outside, a physical altercation ensued and three men were stabbed. All three were taken to hospital with serious injuries and remain in stable condition.

Two other men have been arrested and remain in police custody. Charges have not yet been recommended.

The VPD’s Major Crime Section and Forensic Identification Unit was called to the scene. The area has been re-opened to the public after previously being taped off.

The VPD is urging anyone with information to contact them or Crime Stoppers.
