Kinross Gold Corp. (TSX:K). Miner. Down 10 cents, or 1.71 per cent, to $5.74 on 7.9 million shares.

Manulife Financial Corp. (TSX:MFC). Financial Services. Up 39 cents, or 1.72 per cent, to $23.10 on 6.7 million shares.

Eldorado Gold Corp. (TSX:ELD). Miner. Up five cents, or 1.11 per cent, to $4.57 on 6.5 million shares.

Hydro One Ltd. (TSX:H). Utilities. Down seven cents, or 0.30 per cent, to $22.90 on 6.4 million shares.

Bombardier Inc. (TSX:BBD.B). Aerospace, rail equipment. Down one cent, or 0.48 per cent, at $2.06 on 6.14 million shares. The next potential Canada-U.S. trade dispute unfolded Thursday as aerospace giants clashed at a Washington hearing that marked the formal launch of investigations into Boeing’s allegations that Bombardier received subsidies allowing it to sell its CSeries planes at below-market prices.

B2Gold Corp. (TSX:BTO). Miner. Down nine cents, or 2.63 per cent, at $3.33 on 6.01 million shares.

Home Capital Group Inc. (TSX:HCG). Financial Services. Up 18 cents, or 2.07 per cent, to $8.87 on 985,038 shares. The Toronto-based mortgage company has announced that its board has appointed a new director with extensive experience at two prominent Canadian law firms and as an adviser to the federal government. James Lisson will replace John Marsh, who has been a Home Capital director since 1986. Home Capital has been rebuilding its board and senior management ranks in recent weeks following a series of developments that has shaken confidence in the company.
