Tenth homicide in Vancouver

And the VPD’s Major Crime Section has made an arrest after a long investigation into the death of a man at a wedding back in mid-April.

Around 11:30 p.m. on April 15th, police and paramedics were called to the Fraserview Hall in South Vancouver after 41-year-old Pardeep “Terry” Dulay was found dead by party guests. “It originally appeared that the Mr. Dulay had died of natural causes, but information collected at the scene showed the victim had been involved in a physical altercation just before his death,” says Constable Jason Doucette.

Now, 28-year-old Aneil Sanghera from Richmond has been arrested and charged with manslaughter.

That killing is considered Vancouver’s tenth homicide of the year.
