Arrests after Downtown Vancouver stabbing

VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) – Two people have been arrested after a large fight led to a stabbing in Downtown Vancouver early this morning.

The fight happened at Granville St near Davie St just before 3:30 a.m.

Two men in their 20s were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening stab wounds.

Two people from Surrey were arrested a few blocks away and they remain in custody.

Anyone who may have witnessed the fight is urged to contact police right away. The Vancouver Police Department is trying to determine exactly what happened, and why.
