Teenager in serious condition after Surrey fight

SURREY (NEWS 1130) – A 16-year-old has been taken to the hospital in a serious condition after a fight at a house in Surrey.

The Surrey RCMP received several calls about an altercation at a home near Highway 10 and 148th St about 1.00 a.m. on Sunday.

When mounties arrived, they found the teenager with several wounds from an “unknown edged weapon.”

He had been having an argument with several other young people who had come to the house. The others fled the property before police arrived, but are known to the victim and other people at the house.

Surrey RCMP is canvassing the area for evidence and witnesses. They’re asking that anyone who may have witnessed the altercation or saw several youths fleeing from the area call the them at 604-599-0502.
