Arrest after vehicle fire

It took some effort but the Surrey RCMP has arrested a man after a stolen pickup went up in flames in South Surrey on Sunday night.

The 37-year-old was busted after a brief struggle in a berry field along 176th Street.

That happened after people spotted a man ripping off a bike after failing to steal a car.

The stolen pickup is from Maple Ridge and has been linked to several break and enters and stolen guns.
