Bold & Beautiful: Cruising BC Day Long Weekend with Steph Florian

What a weekend that was! As colourful and artsy as it can get, I enjoyed sampling a wide range of everything summer in our city has to offer. The main theme this weekend was art and culture oh and of course colourful PRIDE!
The Harmony Arts Festival in West Vancouver is on until next weekend and boasts artists, performances and activities right on the beach. I’ll be checking out Mixology on the Pier this Thursday, come out and take a stroll and see why this event is so popular.
The Powell Street Festival is Canada’s largest Japanese / Canadian Festival of it’s kind. From Japanese Cowboys like George and Noriko to Matcha and martial arts, this festival is a must see if you are living in Vancouver.
Sunday was all about Pride! I joined our sister station Kiss Radio and danced my way through the west end in support of diversity and the LGBTQ community. One love!
Monday was the first day of the Vancouver Mural Festival and I took a walking tour through the Mt Pleasant area, chatting with participating artists and sharing all my sights and discoveries on the airwaves. The Mural Fest is on until next Sat, Aug 12.
