Man killed in Abbotsford trailer fire

ABBOTSFORD (NEWS 1130) – A man is dead after a construction trailer he was in went up in flames last night.
Abbotsford fire and ambulance crews, as well as police, were called to the trailer on 3rd Avenue near W. Railway Avenue near the Sumas Border Crossing around 7:45 p.m. The trailer belonged to a commercial truck repair business.
The 45-year-old man apparently had burns to over 80 per cent of his body. He died a few hours after arriving at the hospital.
He was the only person in the trailer at the time.
Fire investigators, police and WorkSafeBC are still looking into the fire.
