Unidentified elderly pedestrian struck by car near SkyTrain station

VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) – Vancouver Police need help identifying an elderly pedestrian who was hurt when he was hit by a vehicle near the 29th Avenue SkyTrain station this morning.

The man, described as Asian and between 70 and 80 years old and around 5’8” tall, was struck at Slocan Street and East 29th Avenue around 7:30 a.m. Thursday.

The man was taken to the hospital with serious injuries but he wasn’t carrying any identification and police don’t know who he is.

He was wearing a blue and grey plaid button up shirt, tan-coloured trousers brown leather lace-up shoes, and possibly a black toque, according to police.
