Foul play suspected after woman’s body found at Victoria school

VICTORIA (NEWS 1130) – A body found at a school in Victoria is identified as a 25-year-old who was reported missing at the end of July.

The Vancouver Island Integrated Major Crime Unit says the body of Euarchol Wanichpan was found at the SJ Willis School on August 22nd.

Wanichpan was last seen on July 30th and was reported missing a day later, police say.

“Given the suspicious nature of Euarchol’s disappearance, the investigation has been turned over to VIIMCU,” they wrote.

They suspect foul play, but say they don’t believe there is a threat to the public.

If you have tips, call the VIIMCU information line at 250-380-6211 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
