Abbotsford Police warn of high-risk sex offender

ABBOTSFORD (NEWS 1130) – Police in the Fraser Valley are warning people of a high-risk sex offender who has been released from custody.

Donald Williams Snow, 61, is out of federal custody and is under supervision of Abbotsford Community Corrections. He is of “no fixed address.”

Snow is about 5’11” tall and about 216 pounds. He has short grey hair and green eyes. He drives a brown 2002 Oldsmobile Intrigue with the BC license plate EJ9 54S.

Police say he has a long criminal history that includes several sexual offences against children like invitation to sexual touching, sexual assault, gross indecency, exposing genitals to young people and possession of child pornography. He has also been convicted of failing to adhere to his court-ordered conditions.

His victims tend to range in age from three to 15.

COURT-ORDERED CONDITIONS

  • Not to attend a public park, public swimming area, daycare centre, or community centre where persons under the age of 16 are present or can reasonably be expected to be present
  • Not to access or possess pornography of any kind included but not limited to pornographic images accessed via the Internet
  • Not be found on public transit except with prior written permission from his bail supervisor
  • Not to possess a computer, data storage devices such as memory stick and USB flash drives, writeable DVD’s or CD’s.

 

Anyone who sees Snow break the conditions above is asked to call police.
