VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) – Vancouver Police are hoping you can help them find a car that was involved in a hit and run on the Granville Street Bridge last month.
It happened at around 2 a.m. on August 6th.
A man was hit by a car heading south in the far left lane of the bridge. The driver didn’t stop. The man was taken to the hospital with serious injuries, and has since been released.
Police are looking for a 1992-94 Toyota Camry that has damage to the front driver’s side headlight.
“The evidence left at the scene by the early 1990s Toyota Camry leaves little doubt the occupants knew they hit something,” says Constable Jason Doucette. “With the information about the damaged headlight, and the vehicle make and model, we are hopeful someone will come forward to help us figure out what happened.”
Investigators are asking the driver or anyone with information about the hit and run to call the VPD’s Collision Investigation Unit at 604-717-3012.
