VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) – Environment Canada is warning you a “wintery mix” may be expected tomorrow afternoon into the evening across Metro Vancouver and the North Shore.

Forecasters say an arctic front is moving toward the south coast, bringing cooler air and strong outflow winds. Some areas can also expect to see snow, but significant accumulation is expected to be restricted to higher elevations.

Light snowfall is also possible for the Fraser Valley and Howe South regions. Environment Canada adds rainfall in the Whistler area is expected to change into snow over night, accumulating to a possible 10 cm Thursday.
