One hurt in Surrey shooting

SURREY (NEWS 1130) – A man in his 30s is hurt after a shooting near the Surrey/Delta border.
At around 8 a.m. today, Mounties were called to the area of 96 Avenue and 116 Street, after reports that a man has been shot. The 33-year-old man was taken to the hospital, but the extent of his injuries are still being determined.
No arrests have been made.
Nearby Royal Heights Elementary was temporarily under lockdown as a precaution.
Investigators believe this was a targeted shooting and there was no risk to anyone at the school or the general public.
