Some of the most active companies traded Thursday on the Toronto Stock Exchange:

Bombardier Inc. (TSX:BBD.B). Aerospace, rail equipment. Down six cents, or 1.92 per cent, to $3.07 on 8.9 million shares. The Montreal-based company expects its revenue to grow to between US$17 billion and US$17.5 billion next year — higher than this year, but below analyst estimates.

Valeant Pharmaceuticals International Inc. (TSX:VRX). Pharmaceutical. Down $3.19, or 11.27 per cent, to $25.11 on 7.02 million shares.

Cenovus Energy Inc. (TSX:CVE). Oil and gas. Down 66 cents, or 5.54 per cent, to $11.26 on 6.8 million shares. The Calgary-based oil producer said Thursday it is planning to cut between 500 and 700 employees and contractors by early next year as it looks to reduce costs. The cuts will add up to about 15 per cent of its current workforce of about 4,200.

Aurora Cannabis Inc. (TSX:ACB). Health care. Up 10 cents, or 1.43 per cent, to $7.10 on 4.7 million shares.

Lundin Mining Corp. (TSX:LUN). Miner. Down 17 cents, or 2.26 per cent, to $7.35 on 4.3 million shares.

Enbridge Inc. (TSX:ENB). Oil and gas. Down 24 cents, or 0.48 per cent, to $49.32 on 4.1 million shares.
