VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) – There are expected to be some sunny breaks this weekend which is good news for all the awesome events to check out around the Lower Mainland.

Takashi Murakami: The Octopus Eats Its Own Leg, is on now at the Vancouver Art Gallery until May.

The Arts Club presents Jitters, on now at the Stanley until February 25th.

The Museum of Vancouver presents: City on Edge: A Century of Vancouver Activism on now until February 18th.

Zee Zee Theatre presents My Funny Valentine on now until February 18th at The Dance Centre on Davie Street.

The Fraser Valley Home & Garden Expo is on this weekend at the Tradex in Abbotsford.

The 11th annual Coastal First Nations Dance Festival is on until March 4th at the Museum of Anthropology at UBC.

The Nat Bailey Stadium Winter Market is on Saturday’s until April.

The Fabric of Our Land: Salish Weaving, is on now until April 15th at the Museum of Anthropology.

The Hastings Park Winter Farmers Market at the PNE Fairgrounds is on Sundays until April.

Kids will be taking over the Museum of Anthropology at UBC Sunday to mark the Family Day long weekend.

The Vancouver Maritime Museum presents The Lost Fleet on now until next March.

The Beaty Biodiversity Museum presents Life in Colour on now until February 18th.
