Find out if your data was swept up in Facebook’s privacy scandal

Have you been been constantly refreshing your Facebook feed to see if you are among the 87 million users who had a third party app share their data with analytics firm Cambridge Analytica?

The social media site began rolling out a “Protecting Your Information” notification yesterday, but if you are tired of waiting to see if you were affected, Facebook has also created a tool to immediately let you know if you or any of your friends logged into the “This Is Your Digital Life” app.

Meanwhile, some users have received notifications saying the app misused their information, including public profile, page likes, birthday and current city, by sharing it with the data-mining firm Cambridge Analytica.

Facebook says more than 70 million of the affected users are in the U.S., and there are over a million each in the Philippines, Indonesia, and the U.K.
