BC man killed in Yukon

VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) – A man from BC is the victim of a homicide in Yukon.

RCMP initially deemed Kevin Edward McGowan’s April 30 death in downtown Dawson City suspicious.

After an autopsy performed in Vancouver on May 4, Mounties say the death has been confirmed a homicide.

There are reports McGowan was originally from Port Coquitlam.

Anyone with information about this homicide is asked to call the Yukon RCMP Major Crimes Unit at at (867) 993-2677.
