Exciting job with a catch: You must be between 10 and 12 years old

VANCOUVER (NEWS 11330) – Are you fun and energetic, and have keen insight on products for people your age?

A new job has been posted, but adults need not apply.

Toys “R” Us Canada is looking for its next Chief Play Officer (CPO). It’s a big job for a someone aged 10 to 12 years old, and it comes with a lot of responsibilities.

The successful applicant will receive deliveries throughout the year so that he or she can try the hottest toys before they hit store shelves. The CPO will get “seasonal toy training” with vendors.”

They will then share toy trends through online videos and the most sought-after holiday toys on Toys R Us Canada’s “hot toy” list.

The new chief play officer will replace outgoing CPO Émile Burbidge, who has held the role for two years, but is retiring from the position so he can focus on high school.

The job begins next January, after the holiday season.

Applications are being accepted until August 21, 2018.
