The biggest model train exposition in British Columbia makes tracks for the Pacific National Exhibition Forum November 11th and 12th 2017.

Vancouver Train Expo fills The Forum this year with expanded activities for kids and families! Special guests include our friends from Wtrak (www.wtrak.org), the modular wooden railway set up designed especially for young hands. Also in attendance, mini-train rides, our tiny train friends from the Island of Sodor, Lego trains, free balloon animals and a children’s activity area.

Keep your eyes open for mini-dinosaurs invading over 50 displays! Keep track of where you see them and you and your family could win a trip aboard the Polar Express courtesy of the West Coast Railway Heritage Park.

Of course, traditionalists will love the fully operational collectible and heritage set ups while those with a penchant for tech will be thrilled to see the modernization of the hobby as tablets and computers control dozens of trains on multiple tracks. Of course, it’s the humans that keep them from running off the rails! And finally, those looking for bargains or hoping to purchase rare or out of production models might just find what they are looking for in the vendor’s Market Place.

Vancouver Train Expo is a great way for the family to spend a November day!
