Vancouver home sales way up
Price reductions and low interest rates could be why
VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) - Buyers have stormed back into the Vancouver housing market. Sales of homes shot 76 per cent higher in June from a year ago, according to the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver. It says the sale of 4,300 homes last month is fewer than a hundred below the record high of June 2005, making it the second best June ever in the Lower Mainland and the fourth best for the Fraser Valley.
