Jesse worked at CKNW in Vancouver while he went to school at BCIT.  He graduated from the Broadcast Journalism program in 2006 and moved to Red Deer where he spent two years as a reporter and anchor.  Then it was off to Calgary where he spent another two years covering crime, court and city hall.  After deciding -40 degree temperatures weren’t to his liking, he left Alberta and moved home to Vancouver.  He is now a writer and reporter on the Afternoon Drive Show on News1130. Jesse is the winner of the 2008 RTNDA Dave Rogers Award for his short feature “A Taste of Homelessness.”  His four favourite things are the Detroit Lions, Detroit Red Wings, Detroit Pistons and Detroit Tigers.
