PITT MEADOWS (NEWS1130) - As police continue to try to stop the circulation of pictures of a gang rape in Pitt Meadows, several Facebook users are taking the time to show support for the victim.

Mounties say the 16-year old was raped by half a dozen men at a rave last weekend, and images of the attack have been spreading through social media.

Stephanie LaRocque has started a Facebook group calling for people to stop distributing these photos online. "I want this girl to know that people are with her, they're supporting her. I just hope she gets the help that she needs, and the people who are doing this will stop and think about what they're doing."

The RCMP are recommending charges against an 18-year-old man in connection with the incident and warning people to stop sharing the photos, as it's classified as child pornography.
