VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) - First there was 'Goat Canucks Goat' and now there's 'Goat for Gold' and they both have one thing in common - to help needy families in Africa.

The idea is to buy a goat for a family in Africa every time a Canadian wins gold at the Olympics. Joel Nagtegaal say the original Goat Canucks Goat campaign raised over 1,000 goats.
He says Goat for Gold is already catching on with the public. "There is already people emailing, and the 'goat-o-metre' is already at four goats, so I think people don't even really care about the medals, they just want to buy goats which is nice to see."
